This Privacy Policy explains how Sliders Puzzle (the "App") provided by Erdi Acar ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you download, install, or use the App on iOS devices. This policy applies globally and describes practices to meet applicable laws including GDPR, CCPA, COPPA and other major privacy regimes. By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
1. Introduction

App type: Game (freemium with optional in-app purchases and subscriptions)
Purpose of policy: Describe what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have regarding your information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the App.
A. Personal Data (collected when you provide it)
Contact information: Email address (if you contact support or create an account where applicable).
Financial information: Transaction metadata and purchase records necessary to process purchases and subscriptions (we do not receive or store your full credit card number; payments are processed by Apple and/or RevenueCat).
Photos and media files: (1) Personal Photo mode — photos you import for your own solo play are processed on your device; we do not store them on our servers for ordinary Photo mode play. (2) Gift Packs — if you create a shared puzzle gift, photos and messages you submit are uploaded to our backend so recipients can play your levels and view your gift memory; see Section 2.D below.
B. Sensitive Data
The App does not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric data, race/ethnicity, or financial account numbers). If you believe we have collected sensitive data in error, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
C. Usage Data & Technical Data (collected automatically)
Device information: Device model, operating system and version, device identifiers (including advertising identifier/IDFA when you permit tracking), language, time zone.
Connection information: IP address, mobile carrier (if available).
App activity and analytics: Gameplay behavior, levels completed, in-app events, feature usage, crash logs, performance metrics, timestamps and session duration.
Advertising and marketing data: Advertising identifiers and signals used for ad personalization if you permit tracking.
2.D Gift Packs (Shared Puzzle Gifts)
If you use Gift Packs (create, publish, share, or open a shared puzzle gift in the App), we collect and process the following in addition to the categories above:
Creators (iOS): Gift title, opening and closing messages, custom photo puzzle images (up to five levels), optional recipient password (stored as a secure hash, not plain text), a share code and gift link (e.g. sliderspuzzle.com/gift/CODE), and an iOS device identifier used to associate packs you create (Identifier for Vendor / IDFV, or a fallback ID stored on your device). Publishing may require in-app gold or purchases as shown in the App.
Recipients: Share code or link you enter, optional password, gameplay progress stored locally on your device, and technical data in Section 2.C when you redeem or play.
Who can see gift content: Anyone who has the share code, link, and password (if you enabled one) can access the gift pack, play the puzzles, and—after completing levels—may view the gift memory (your submitted photos and messages). Do not share links publicly if you want the gift to stay private.
Revocation and expiry: Creators may revoke a gift in the App, which stops new access. Active gifts remain available for up to one (1) year from publication unless revoked earlier or removed for legal, security, or policy reasons.
Your responsibilities: Only upload photos and text you have the right to share, and obtain consent from people identifiable in your images. See our Terms of Use for content rules.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
To provide and improve the App, its features and gameplay experience.
To process purchases, subscriptions, and refunds, and to maintain payment records and receipts.
To operate and maintain our backend services (including saving your progress if you opt in).
To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
For analytics and performance monitoring, crash reporting and to diagnose and fix technical issues.
For advertising and marketing: to deliver personalized ads and measure ad effectiveness (only with your consent where required).
For fraud detection, security and to comply with legal obligations.
To communicate important updates, policy changes, and other administrative messages.
To host, deliver, secure, and moderate Gift Packs, share links, and related gift memory experiences.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Recipients
We use third-party services to operate, host, analyze, advertise and manage payments. These third parties may receive and process some of your data as described below:

Third parties may collect information directly, and their use of your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies. We do not control those third parties’ practices.
5. Advertising and User Tracking
The App displays advertising, including personalized ads. Personalized ads are based on your activity in the App and your device advertising identifier (IDFA) if you grant permission via iOS App Tracking Transparency.
To opt out of personalized ads and tracking:

6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described and to comply with legal obligations:
Analytics and usage data: up to 24 months (aggregate data may be retained longer in anonymized form).
Crash reports and diagnostic logs: up to 12 months.
Photos/media uploaded by you (non-gift): retained until you delete them, until your account is terminated, or for up to 2 years of account inactivity unless legal reasons require longer retention.
Gift Pack content (photos, messages, metadata, share codes): until the gift expires (up to one year after publication), is revoked by the creator, or is deleted for legal, security, or policy reasons—whichever occurs first.
Purchase and financial transaction records: retained for transaction fulfillment and legal/tax obligations (commonly up to 7 years).
Support correspondence: retained for as long as necessary to resolve issues and for record-keeping (typically up to 2 years).
We will delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for the purposes described above, subject to legal obligations or ongoing dispute resolution.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. These measures include TLS/HTTPS for data in transit, access controls, and secure storage practices where supported by our service providers.
No system is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your data, we will follow applicable breach notification laws and notify affected users as required.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, contact us at erdiacar@gmail.com.
9. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA and other rights)
We provide the following rights where required by law. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at erdiacar@gmail.com. We may require verification of your identity and may need additional information to process requests.
A. General (GDPR)
Right to access: You can request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
Right to correct: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to delete: You can request deletion of your personal data, subject to exceptions (e.g., legal obligations).
Right to portability: You can request a machine-readable copy of personal data you provided.
Right to restrict or object: You can request restriction of certain processing or object to processing for direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
B. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Right to know and access: Request categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the prior 12 months.
Right to deletion: Request deletion of personal information, subject to permitted exceptions.
Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell personal information. However, third-party ad networks may process data for ad personalization. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the device controls listed above or relevant third-party opt-out mechanisms.
Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Please include sufficient information to verify your identity and describe your request (access, deletion, correction, portability, etc.). We will respond within 30 days where required; we may extend by up to 45 days with notice.
10. AI-Powered Features
The App does not use AI or large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to process user content or to generate responses. If we add AI-powered features in the future, we will update this policy and disclose how data is shared with and processed by any AI providers.
11. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Business model: Freemium — the App is free to download with optional in-app purchases and subscriptions (one-time purchases and auto‑renewing subscriptions).
Billing and processing: Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store (Apple IAP) and subscription receipts may be managed by RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card data. For subscription auto-renewal:
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. - You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your Apple ID account settings (App Store > Account > Subscriptions). - Refunds are handled by Apple; contact Apple Support for purchase disputes or refund requests.
We store purchase metadata and receipts to provide entitlements and for legal/tax records.
12. How We Share and Disclose Data
We may share your information with:
Service providers who perform services on our behalf (analytics providers, cloud hosting, crash reporting, payment processors, advertising partners).
Affiliates or business partners if needed to provide a feature you request.
Law enforcement, regulators or other third parties if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
In connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or other transfer of assets — we will notify users and take steps to protect personal data transferred as required by law.
Third-party recipients include those listed in Section 4.
13. International Transfers
Data collected from users may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country, including the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, we will implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to protect your information consistent with applicable law.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice in the App and update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

16. Additional Disclosures for App Store Compliance (iOS)
Advertising: The App uses personalized ads. We may access the IDFA for ad personalization only with your permission via App Tracking Transparency.
Data types collected (for App Store metadata): Device Information (model, OS, identifiers), Financial Information (purchase receipts and metadata), Photos and Media Files (Photo mode and Gift Packs if you create or open a gift), User Content (gift titles and messages), Usage Analytics and App Behavior, Crash Reports.
Privacy practices and data handling for each third-party service are governed by their respective privacy policies listed in Section 4.
If you disable tracking or personalized ads in your device settings, we will honor those preferences to the extent technically possible
